譯者在這邊誤解原作者的意思，譯文的解釋方式是「哺乳類動物遇到危險時，先問自己『那是什麼東西?』然後才回答『我該怎麼辦』，而這樣的錯誤關鍵在於"take no chance" -> 不願冒任何風險，和後面的聯接詞and，譯者誤將原文處理為"evolution took no chances to designed the brain to answer te "What should I do?" question before the "What is it?" question.
